LISTEN: #NationalDoorBellDay got Jim & Teri talking about...candy. Do YOU eat your kids Halloween candy?

It's funny to find #NationalDoorBellDay falls on Halloween. Sounds pretty perfect to us!

So as the kids are out ringing those door bells during trick-or-treat time, are you looking forward to them coming home with their stash of sweets, so you can dig in, too? There is a new survey out and it shows 86% of parents admitting to stealing some of their kids' candy.

But it gets even better. The parents who responded yes, also say they'll probably eat a QUARTER of it, while a little more than 40% say they actually expect to eat more candy than their kids this year.

Here are three more stats from the survey:

  • 40% of people say they enjoy Halloween even more as adults, than they did as kids, and more than a third revealed it's because THEY get to decide how much candy they can eat, and no one can stop them. How 'bout that?!
  • 58% of adults admit trying to limit how much candy they eat on Halloween night. But, compare it to 75% of parents who limit the amount of candy their kids eat.
  • 73% say they intentionally buy more candy than needed for trick-or-treaters, just to be sure there's plenty left over for -- themselves!

Jim and I couldn't just skim over all this sweetness.

So we talked about it.

LISTEN, below, as it all begins with #NationalDoorBellDay and a sound effect Jim just couldn't let go...
