LISTEN: Flannel Fest Supports Those in Need this Winter. Founders Erik Kjelland & Beth Kille tell Jim & Teri Why this Music Fest is Important, and they share an original holiday-tinged song, you are certain to love.

Consider it a great reason to bust out the flannel -- and you won't be alone! The High Noon Saloon in Madison on Friday night, and Gibson Music Hall in Appleton on Saturday night, are the locations for this two-night celebration of amazing music. But there's a deeper meaning behind the "flannel," and it is because the fest helps support the incredible work being done by the Keep Wisconsin Warm / Cool Fund.

Erik and Beth have been putting this fest together for several years, and it's become a warm spot for many of us as winter arrives. And believe me, the band involved, never disappoint! I'll be part of the event in Madison, and hope to see you there. And Appleton, you better come out strong on Saturday, too.
