How many selfies do YOU take before you post it? Jim & I talk about the average & why we are not part of a new survey

The number is kind of funny, but probably not all that surprising. And if you've ever wondered how your selfie habit compares to others, we now know thanks to a new survey.

The Florida House Experience, a health treatment center, shows the average number of selfies taken by both men and women is three-to-five. But the average jumps to six-to-ten for about 28% of women who say they have to take that many before they feel one is a winner.

The survey doesn't stop there, and turns in to a really interesting read about body image. It gets into the numbers when it comes to which states have the most residents dealing with a negative body image. Wisconsin is NOT in the top-10. But dig in further, and the reason for having a negative body image falls back on social media. That's right. It's gone full-circle.

LISTEN, below, as Jim and I lighten up the topic by talking about the number of selfies most people take before posting even one photo, and why our average is not going to land us in a survey, anytime soon.

We also share a call from a listener who reads a very selfie-specific traffic sign to us; all of this happening on what is dubbed as #NationalSelfieDay. By the way, we usually grab a selfie in one try. Have you noticed?

Smile!
