How to help our friends impacted by historic flooding across the area

We need your help, so we can help them!

94.9 WOLX cares about Wisconsin and we need your help. The flooding has caused millions of dollars worth of damage to homes, businesses, roads, parks, and more. Help us help our neighbors.

If you are looking to help others, here are some options:

  • Check on your direct neighbors first
  • Volunteer with sandbagging area ponds and waterways. 
  • Greater Sauk County Disaster Relief - Foundation set up to help the citizens of Sauk County and surrounding areas
  • The Peoples Community Bank - A fund has been created to help those in the Mazomanie area. Donations can be made at any bank location in Arena, Mazomanie, Barneveld, Spring Green, and Richland Center.
  • The State Bank of Cross Plains - The bank is currently working on creating a fund for those impacted by flooding in Cross Plains
  • The Red Cross - The national non-profit is working in Dane County helping those impacted by the water. They have three shelters set up with supplies and food that have been donated. They ask that you donate to the Red Cross through their website.
  • The Salvation Army - They are assisting the Red Cross in efforts to help those displaced from the floods. You can donate to them online.
  • Goodwill
  • Second Harvest Food Bank - You can donate online or in person.
